‘A Winters Tale Bazar’ is bringing together locally based artists and designers ( including moi yeay ! ) offering guests the chance to buy vintage designer items, art pieces, bags, cards, jewellery and many more original gifts !

The event will be hosted for two days with a variety of products of which the proceeds will be donated to charity.

‘Ta’a Al Shabab’ Opening Ceremony – painting for the live art performance

My colleague Ebrahim El-Masri ( installation artist) and I appeared on Bahrain TV to promote our upcoming exhibition ‘Human’, associated with Ta’a Al Shabab and the visual arts group Tashkeel.

Tashkeel, an art group that I recently joined, is allowing young local artists to be given the opportunity to showcase their art, as well as get access to great events and workshops. Tashkeel is one of the seven groups under the organization Ta’a Al Shabab (supported by the Ministry of Culture). The organization hosts an annual Cultural Festival with seven different sections dedicated to the arts, literature, architecture and culture.

From the 16th-21st of Sept 2011, Tashkeel will be having the exhibition ‘Human’ as part of the Cultural Festival, exciting !

Painting “Bless Our Souls” featured in the Gulf Daily Newspaper, part of the 1st Bahraini Female Artists Annual Exhibition.

“A Woman’s Story” exhibition will be held May 17, in which a group of local female artists, including my self , will be showcasing their artworks at the Alba Club.

The event is hosted by Nadine Gallery , under the patronage of H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa (Minister of Culture).
